Small trick with big consequences!

The RUBI glasses developed are specially coated versions that specifically reflect the color spectrum of blood and display it in the color black. Other colors, including other red as well as yellow from warning signs, etc., continue to be displayed and perceived almost originally – for greater safety at the scene!

In principle, nothing changes in the situation of an operation in case of bad accidents, but the disturbing image loses intensity due to the conversion of the red color of the blood into neutral black and gray. This prevents the automatic long-term storage of these images in the brain.

The images are practice mannequins with fake blood.

Advantages

  • Many first aiders cannot and do not want to see blood because they are afraid of the psychological stress.
  • These target groups could generally be provided with RUBI goggles in their first aid kit.
  • The application possibilities are so wide-ranging that all emergency vehicles such as fire departments, police, THW, and even ambulances could be equipped with them.
  • It generally increases the alertness and attention in such situations, among other things also for the protection of the other helpers.

Targets

  • The goal is to give everyone the choice to use or at least have a RUBI with them.
  • It is a much too forgotten topic how the emergency forces feel after such operations, not to mention the families who are in the background.
  • In Germany alone, we have 1,000,000 firefighters. One in 10 has dealt with proven PTSD during their time in the fire department.
  • If my invention helped only 1% of them, that would still be 1000 people and families I could help with it. And here we are still only talking about Germany.

Salvage (definition of the fire department!)

Material goods and corpses, including animal carcasses, are recovered. In the press, the term “salvage” is often erroneously used in connection with the rescue of people. However, this is not correct according to the definition of the fire department. If a human being or an animal is rescued alive from a predicament, this is a “rescue” and not a “recovery”. If the rescued person is then transported on a “stretcher”, he was lucky, because: if he were lying on a “stretcher”, he would already be dead. The term “stretcher” and “stretcher” are also often confused.
